“The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much…”
A few years back, I got into a conversation about praying for your future husband with my colleagues and I was shocked at the opinions some of them had about the subject. So fast track to today, being happily married and all, I can’t help but wonder if they still hold on to their opinion or not. Well, since I have a blog now, what better way to share my thoughts and also get to know what the views of my readers are, and if possible inspire some people to think differently regarding the matter. Hi lovelies…hope your week has been pleasant. If you are following me on instagram, you’ll know that I’ve been ranting about #fitness #healthyfood #healthymeals #vegan #keto, etc. every possible hashtag that is related to fitness and healthy eating. I’ve never been fat in my life…I mean, I may add weight seasonally, but not the very worrisome type. I don’t also believe in the…’you gain weight as soon as you start giving birth’ (mostly) African mentality. I have been ‘mostly’ inspired by celebrities who have nothing less than 2 kids and still look as though nothing like childbirth ever occurred in their lives. I know they are exposed to a wealth of technological/medical…stuff that help with that, but I’m more inspired by their determination to maintain their features even after childbirth.
I decided to share this post knowing that there are so many people out there who are going through or might go through some of the things that I have experienced as a boss. One thing I’m glad about is that I do not have any regrets whatsoever. This is because, the mistakes I’ve made in the past and the losses I’ve encountered have made me stronger… and wiser too. I work hard everyday, towards making better choices and getting better results.
